Our Hotel is located on the West Coast of the Island, in Uroa/Marumbi, directly on the beach.

From the Airport

Zanzibar International Airport Abeid Amani Karume, is located at ca. 36km away from our Hotel. From the airport, you can arrive to Five Palms trough a shuttle booked trough us, a taxi, or Dalla-Dalla (a small bus that acts like public transportation). You will need approximately 50 minutes to get to us, if you are travelling with our shuttle.

From the Airport, with our shuttle, you will go trough Zanzibar City, Regezo Mwendo, Dunga Kiembeni and Chwaka.

If you take the Dalla-Dalla, the trip is a bit longer, and takes around 2-3 hours, because this bus stops a lot of times.

If you want to take a taxi, please be cautious, and negociate the price BEFORE you enter the taxi. Also, we are recommending only our approved taxis to evoid any unpleasant experiences.
